Mazda Motor Corporation hield de 20ste van februari een plechtigheid voor de start van de productie van de compleet nieuwe Mazda CX-7 voor de Noord-Amerikaanse markt in de Ujina Plant No. 2 (U2) nabij Mazda's hoofdkwartier in Hiroshima.

Mazda's president en CEO, Hisakazu Imake, Mazda Norh American Operations (MNAO) president en CEO en CEO Jim O'Sullivan en zeker 700 werknemers woonden deze gebeurtenis bij. De CX-7 is ontworken en ontwikkeld met de Noord-Amerikaanse markt in het achterhoofd en zal daar in de lente bij de Amerikaanse dealers verschijnen.
